Plumbing

The Work You Don't See, Done Right

Behind every good bathroom is good plumbing. Moving a toilet, fitting concealed valves or adding a wall-mounted tap all depend on pipework that's planned, fitted and tested properly.

Ryan carries out general plumbing work, backed by a City & Guilds heating engineering qualification. He handles the plumbing for his own bathroom installations and smaller plumbing jobs around the bathroom.

Please note that Ryan does not carry out gas or boiler work.

Why it matters

Why Small Plumbing Problems Grow

Slow leaks cause big damage

A drip under a basin or behind a panel can soak floors and ceilings for months before it's noticed.

Poor pressure and flow

Badly planned pipework can leave showers weak and taps slow.

Running costs

A constantly running toilet or dripping tap wastes water every day.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Ignoring small drips and damp patches
  • Fitting new taps on old, worn connections
  • Moving fixtures without considering waste falls
  • Hiding pipework without easy access for later
